Getting help Write to [email protected] and we will answer. The quickest route is from inside the app — Settings → About → Contact support opens a draft with the app version and your iOS version already filled in. There is no support form and no ticket system: the app collects nothing, so anything we need to know has to come from you.

What to include in a report

The app has no analytics and no crash reporting, so your message is the only information we get. If something is not working, these three things make it far more likely we can reproduce it:

Using Contact support inside the app fills in the first two for you.

The partner game cannot find the other device

The partner game connects two devices directly, with no server in between, so both sides have to be looking for each other at the same time. Check that:

If a device appears under "Seen nearby" but never connects, leave the partner view on both devices and enter it again — that restarts discovery from scratch.

Both devices show the same name

On iPhone and iPad, apps get a generic device name such as "iPhone", so two devices can look identical in the list. Once you are connected, tap the pencil next to the partner's name and give them a nickname. Your partner doesn't see it, and it is used from then on.

The free hour, and what happens after it

The app is free to download and includes one hour of in-app time. That hour is counted only while you are actually using the app, and it adds up across all your sessions — no clock runs while the app is closed or in the background. If it runs out before you have decided, the subscription view lets you reset it for another hour, up to 3 times — 4 hours of free time in all.

After that, a subscription keeps it going, monthly or yearly, with the price of each plan shown in the app before you subscribe. You can subscribe at any time from Settings → Subscription → Subscribe. The subscription is shared through Family Sharing, so you and up to five family members can use it.

Managing, cancelling, or getting a refund

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are managed in your Apple Account. In the app, Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription takes you there on any device; on iPhone and iPad they are also under Settings → your name → Subscriptions in the Settings app. Cancelling there stops future renewals and keeps your access until the current period ends.

Refunds are also handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no access to your payment details and cannot issue a refund ourselves — but do write to us as well if something went wrong, because that is the only way we find out about it.

Restoring a purchase on a new device

For the subscription, open Settings → Subscription and, in the subscription view, tap Restore purchases. For a ready-made set you bought before, open Guess sets → + → Ready-made sets and tap Restore purchases there. Both also bring back purchases made by a family member who shares with you.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase.

Where your guess sets and statistics are kept

Your image sets and your settings are stored on your device, inside the app's own storage. Recorded rounds stay in memory for the current session by default and clear when you quit; turn on Save statistics on device in Settings to keep them across launches. The app doesn't send any of it to us or to any other company — and we run no servers that could receive it.

This means two things worth knowing. If you back up your device, those files travel with the backup like any other app's data. And if you delete the app, they are deleted with it and we cannot recover them for you. To keep a copy of an image set independently, open the set and use the share button to export it as a .guesset file.

A ready-made set shows no price

Prices come from the App Store, so a set can show no price if the device is offline or signed out of the App Store. Check your connection, make sure you are signed in, and reopen the view. If it persists, write to us with the set name.

Privacy

The app does not collect any personal data — there are no accounts and no analytics. The full details are in the privacy policy. Email you send us is ordinary correspondence: we keep it only as long as it takes to answer you.
